The Cubic Heart Vase (CHV) series was originally designed as a commission for 'a unique, hanging lighting fixture’.  The first in the series resembled a heart shape. It uses only 1/2" glass bars that have been precisely cut, ground, and polished. Each piece is individually stacked as in the structure of a log cabin. The color exists only in the laminations where each glass bar crosses another. The color is projected throughout the polished glass.
